If you have a burning des...Couldn't agree more! If you have a burning desire to write, then put all your doubts aside and do it! As for writing for the market, surely everyone has a secret hope that the story they write WILL be the one every agent, and every editor in the land is looking for. Sadly, it rarely is but, hard work aside, writing is fun so it doesn't matter! And if you keep on writing, then maybe, just maybe you will write the novel that sells.
